I currently paint using a strong
colorful palette.
I use both the automatic
and conscious sides of my brain when painting and drawing.
I usually but not always start a painting without a
preconceived idea of what I am going to create.
But my paintings end up being
"about" something as my conscious makes the connections between the
lines and shapes, attaching meaning and context.
